Hazard Log

A comprehensive hazard register for recording, assessing, and mitigating operational risks — with a configurable risk matrix that gives you an instant visual overview of your safety landscape. EASA-compliant by default.

Understanding your hazard landscape

A hazard log is one of the most fundamental components of any Safety Management System. It provides a living register of the operational hazards your organisation has identified, together with the controls you have in place to manage them.

AvioData's Hazard Log module makes it easy to maintain this register in a structured, consistent way — and to demonstrate to auditors and authorities that your hazard identification and risk assessment processes are functioning as required.

Configurable risk matrix — EASA-compliant by default

Each hazard is assessed against a likelihood/severity matrix, producing a risk score that drives prioritisation. The matrix comes pre-configured to the EASA standard so you are compliant from day one, but can be adjusted to match your organisation's own risk tolerance definitions if your authority accepts a different framework. The dashboard view plots all active hazards on the matrix, giving safety managers an immediate visual understanding of where the highest risks sit — and where mitigation efforts should be focused.
